On the 13th and 14th June, Shafton decided to host a Cupcake Day in aid of Alzheimer’s Society.
The team wanted to raise as much dough as possible, to help unite against Dementia for this incredible charity. For those who weren’t bakers, brought in plenty of goodies to feast on which in turn raised over £50!
According to research, “in the average time it takes to bake a batch of cakes, six people in the UK will develop dementia”. The money raised from the Cupcake Day will help fund pioneering research, support services and vital care.
