Oxy Gas and HD Plasma Profiling

Our profiling team offers reliability and accuracy through continuous investment in the latest equipment  and technology.

We are fully mill-certified, and our quality procedures allow all profiles to be fully traceable back to parent materials.

Shafton Steel Services can accommodate the most demanding of customer requirements and we can process plate capabilities up to 24m long and 300mm thick, including drilling, milling, tapping and countersinking.

CNC Plate Drilling

Our Voortman V200 plate drill provides high speed carbide drilling from 5mm to 40mm holes.

All our operators are trained to the highest standards to create the best possible results for each customer.

The capability of drilling up to 60mm thick plates, compliments our gas and plasma machines to provide fully prepared CE marked components, helping you to reduce lead times and allow savings on processing costs.

Bevel Head Plasma Profiling

Our Voortman V304 Plasma Bevel machine is the latest addition to our plate cutting department.

The Voortman V304 offers weld preps, bevelled edges and has True Hole Technology® for enhanced hole quality.

As with all our processes, we are UKCA accredited up to execution class 4, allowing for our products and expertise to be used in all applications which require UKCA marked components.
