In December, Shafton hosted their annual Christmas event to raise as much money as possible for charity.
The team took part in a Christmas jumper day, Christmas tree competition, buffet, and a virtual quiz, all to generate money for The Trussell Trust. The team at Shafton also decided to plant Christmas trees as part of their commitment of becoming ‘greener’.
Across the Group, we raised over £470 for The Trussell Trust. Between 1 April 2021 and 31 March 2022, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s UK wide network distributed over 2.1 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis. Right now, the soaring cost of living means more and more people are being pushed to crisis point and forced to use food banks. We are proud to be part of #TeamTrussell.
