Our Gietart shotblaster, one of the largest in the country, can handle plates up to 2.5m wide and sections up to 24m long to SA2.5.

We can offer shotblasting of fittings, sections, or plate girder kits. Shafton has a large secure storage area to handle anything from small jobs to large contracts, including those requiring phased processing.

Our plant facility gives the option of leaving one flange unpainted and has a drying tunnel to ensure all material is dry prior to handling.

Section Sawing and Drilling

Our saw and drill lines are made up by our Ficep Endeavour and our fully refurbished Voortman VB1250, we can cut the largest rolled sections on both saws up to 18m & drill holes up to 40mm.

The Ficep Endeavour has a three-spindle drilling line and is capable of notching, milling, etch marking and scribing. All drilling can be programmed by our CAD team, or we can use NC files provided by you.

The Voortman VB1250 is especially designed for cutting beams. We offer mitre cutting up to 60 degrees, and both of our machines are programmed from customer NC files.
