Shafton Steel Services is a trading division of Billington Structures Ltd. Based at our 25-acre site in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, we are established as a major regional supplier to the fabrication, engineering and manufacturing sectors specialising in the supply of profiled plate (up to 300mm), bars and fittings.

Shafton Steel Services offers a wide range of steel products, manufactured in our large state of the art, independent steel services and processing centre. We can handle one-off jobs to large contracts with steel fully processed up to Execution Class 4 in UKCA marking.

The size capability and capacity of our processing centre allow us to meet most demanding lead times. Sections and plate are available from our vast range of steel grades that are kept in stock or we can work on customer provided free-issue material.

Our steel is fully processed up to execution class 4 in UKCA marking. We can offer a wide range of steel from one-offs to multiple parts from our state-of-the-art premises; where we have facilities to provide Oxy Gas & HD Plasma profiling, plate drilling, shear punch, section cutting and drilling. We can even prepare your jobs for site with shotblast and painting if required.

Our experienced CAD, technical and operational teams pride themselves on providing the highest quality of product and service, quickly and reliably, and we aim to reduce both cost and lead time for our customers where follow on processes are required.

We have extensive experience in dealing with enquiries across all market sectors, including engineering, manufacturing and fabrication, offering advice and guidance if required at any stage.
